Terms and Conditions*
The Crayfish are transported nationwide to an address specified by yourself, by courier, and we dispatch Monday - Thursday each week. The products are packed in polystyrene boxes with ice packs inside, which keeps the product chilled. Larger orders, such as to the foodservice industry, are transported in refrigerated vehicles.

Everything is done to ensure that your product arrives as soon as possible in perfect condition. We will contact you by email to advise of any delays and to give you an option to change or cancel your order. We try to fulfil orders within 3 days under normal circumstances, and where this is not possible we will contact the customer.

You can order our products for your dinner party at home, or we would be delighted to receive a trade enquiry. Please email or call us for more information. You can peruse the product range & then purchase online, protected by guaranteed secure transaction facilities.

The website also provides further information on the products along with cooking tips and a selection of recipe ideas.
You can order directly via the telephone if you prefer, and discuss the products in detail, including preparation and cooking advice.

Cancellation Rights
If you live within the EU, under the "Distance Selling Regulations 2000" you have the right to cancel this contract, provided that you exercise your right within 7 working days from the day after your parcel is delivered to you. This right does not extend to companies or businesses or if your order is being delivered outside of the EU.

If you live outside the EU or you are a company or business within the EU your order cannot be cancelled once dispatched. Prior to dispatch, orders for special order items or items prepared to your specifications, or orders where you have ordered in excess of 10 of any one item cannot generally be cancelled once placed. If we do, at our discretion, decide to accept your order cancellation in these circumstances we reserve the right to charge a £25 cancellation fee to offset costs incurred.

Your right to cancel your order under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 does not apply to perishable food products (i.e. frozen, chilled, fresh or short shelf-life food products), goods made to your specification, goods that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. We are unable to process returns or refunds on perishable food items that are just unsuitable or unwanted.

If you wish to cancel your order, this is only possible if goods have not been dispatched. Refusing delivery of your parcel or failing to make arrangements to accept your parcel so that it is returned to us or held by the courier is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Risk of damage or loss to the goods you have ordered passes from us to you when delivery is first attempted whether or not successful. If your order is returned to us we will incur a return delivery charge for which you will be liable.

In these circumstances the goods you have ordered remain your property and you will not be entitled to a refund for either the goods you have ordered or for any delivery costs you have incurred. If you would like to have your order re-sent a further delivery charge would be payable (in additional to the return delivery charge we will have incurred). If have opted to collect goods from us in person from our premises, the Distance Selling Regulations do not apply. You may cancel your order prior to us sending it. After this time, order cancellation is no longer possible, except in exceptional circumstances when we may at our discretion be prepared to refund you minus a £25 charge to cover our costs. For food safety reasons we reserve the right to dispose of perishable items after 7 days of your order being ready for collection. 

Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected plus delivery costs. Your card is charged when your order is placed. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made to the same card. If your card cannot be verified or is any way unacceptable, the order will not be dispatched.

If you believe an item purchased from ourselves is defective or has been damaged in transit, please make a note on the courier's delivery sheet and notify us immediately so that we can establish a course of action which will result in crediting your account and/or the replacement of the product. If you find any problems at all with any of our products, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods by phone or email.
